FAQ 42: ADP--Compensation-Full year for ADP vs. post-entry for ACP


I'm having a problem with ACP testing compensation and new entrants during the year. I want ASC to use "post-entry compensation" for purposes of ACP testing, but not ADP testing. ADP testing should use full-year comp.


Either copy or import the post-entry compensation into the "ACP Test" override field on the Override Test Compensation (TESTCOMP) screen in the employees' records. The test will then use whatever compensation is coded in the ACP Test override field for the ACP test, and will use the salary in the Plan compensation field on the Compensation screen for the ADP test.
