FAQ 72: 410b--Multiple plans permissive aggregation using primary eligibility

Problem: What is the correct setup for permissively disaggregating plans in a multiple plan 410b test?

Solution: Access the plan whose eligibility you want to use for all the plans in the coverage test. If, for example, the main plan's eligibility is 1yr/21, and the second plan is immediate elig, selecting the option "Use Primary Plan Elig for all plans" will apply 1yr/21 to all plans in the controlled group, regardless of the additional plans' eligibility parameters.
