FAQ 1133: Lifetime Income Wizard run across multiple plans

Problem:

Can we run this wizard before we have moved the plans forward to the next year? For example, leave the plans in the year 2020 for 2021?

IMPORTANT NOTE: THE MORTALITY TABLES MUST BE IMPORTED PRIOR TO RUNNING THE WIZARD TO POST TABLE NAMES
Run the Lifetime income wizard AFTER the plan has been updated to the correct plan year. Within the wizard you should request the plans with PYE to start and end with 12/31/2021 (this part of the data entry form is about the plans you want to change) then input the interest rate for December 1, 2021. The Lifetime Income interest field DOES clear/blank out upon annual update. Another note about this particular wizard, it does compute the Participant's APR's in the Projections screen.

Have you considered updating all of the plans at once? You could run both wizards back to back.
