FAQ 143: Reports--Show points allocation basis

Problem:

How do I print the points allocation basis so that I can check the numbers?


Solution:

Probably the easiest way to do it is to create a grid that shows you the contribution allocation and the contribution allocation basis. You can export the grid to Excel as well, which would allow you to check the numbers. Here is how you would do it:

- EMPLOYEE-View-Grid-New
- Select NAME and SSNUM from the item names
- Select CONTRIB form name and CCTBERBL as the item (current Employer Balance contribution)
- Select CNTBABAS (contribution allocation basis) and subscript 4 (maps to ER balance field)

To export the grid to Excel, first save it under View-Grid-Save and then go to View-Grid-Export to File. It will export a tab delimited file that you can use Excel's import wizard on.
