FAQ 438: Error 404 Deleting Employee - I/O error - cannot delete employee

Problem: I was trying to delete a record in this plan but got this message "Error=404: Msg=Cannot delete Employee: Cannot remove records: I/O error". How can I delete it? Thanks.

Solution: I have seen this error only one other time. It happens when trying to delete someone whose record has somehow gotten "corrupted". I'm not sure why - but the fix is to make a Standard Copy (not a Quick Copy) of the plan. This type of copy cleans up the employee records. You should then be able to delete them on the new plan.
