FAQ 711: Entry Dates--Mistake in coding eligibility, re-ran calculations but all entry dates are not resetting

Problem:

Which status codes have entry dates changed and which don't?


Solution:

Status A will never have any dates changed.
Status C will have all dates changed except Entry.
Status HMN Terminees will not have entry dates recalculated *unless* they are blank.
When the Plan Specs were improperly coded and entry dates set incorrectly, the best way to fix it is to clear the entry dates globally using the grid's Set Column Data feature. For status C or A, you would also need to set their code to status B (new entrant). Then, when you re-run the Eligibility calculations, both actives and terminees will have their entry dates reset.
