FAQ 717: Vesting--How can I turn off the vesting calculation?

Problem: I have a balance forward plan and am working on the 6/30/07 valuation. We don't upload hours and ASC is assuming 1000 hours as of 6/30 so the vesting was updated. We don't want to update vesting. What's the best way to prevent this?

Solution: Go to the Group Definition (GROUPDEF) screen in the general specs and change the "Calculate Vested Percent for Actives" and the "Calculate Vested Percent for Current Terms" fields to "No". Also, please remember to set those fields back to "Yes" when you want the vesting to be updated.
