FAQ 302: Reports--listing of all participants who are 72 from ASC? |
Problem: Is there a way to get a listing of all participants who are 72 from ASC? Can you list all participants whose birthdays are before a given date? Or even a list of all participants with their birthdates? We want to make sure nobody slips through the cracks on their minimum distributions. Thanks. |
Solution: To list participants over 72, select Reports > Other > 72. 1. Running this command while in an individual plan will result in a list of all participants who have reached ages 72 in the open plan. 2. Running this command without opening a plan will result in a list of all participants who have reached ages 72 in the selected plans. Click on Batch Selection to select the libraries, plan types etc. NOTE: This program skips participants that are status S, Y, O in DC 401k Plans and status S, Y, O, R in DB Plans Once you have the list of employees, you can use Calculations / Individual Employee / "Required Minimum Distributions" to calculate the required distribution for individual employees in a DC plan. In order to use this utility, you must have the correct account balance in the employee record. |
