FAQ 315: Error 1010 FNDNAMES.DAT

Problem: I am getting an error message as follows: Error=1010:Msg=FundNam:Cannot open file:Name=c:\asc\ndm\Fndnames.dat:file record length is incorrect. What do I need to do?

Solution: This error can occur when a system update or patch file is not completely or correctly loaded. Reload the SYS, WIN and NDM setup.exe files and watch for any errors. Remember that ALL users need to be out of ASC when an update or a patch file is loaded, although the update/patch can be loaded from any workstation in the network.
