FAQ 809: error 105 "too few bytes" loading MML or SRT file to ASC

Problem:

I am getting this error 105 when trying to run MML to load this file.

Solution:

This message means that there are records within the file that are not the same length. Open the file in Word and look for rows that do not line up on the right side. It should be 80 characters ending with the backwards paragraph sign. In my version of Word, you can turn on the hidden characters under Tools-Options-View Tab, check "All" under "Formatting Marks". If you can't see it, send us the actual file and we can look at it here.
