FAQ 126: ADP--Not showing 402(g) catchup amount

Problem: I have one individual that has made a catchup contribution, I ran the 402(g) deferral limits test, however when I ran the ADP/ACP test the deferral amount used is $16000.00 not $13000.00. Is there something that I need to do so that when the ADP test is run the $13000 is used?

Solution: Check the "Save Calculated Changes" box when running the 402(g) test, so that the catchup amounts are saved on the Catchup Limits (LIMITCAT) screen, and are subtracted from the deferral amounts on the Contributions (CONTRIB) screen. Once you do that, you should see the deferral amount that you are expecting on the ADP test.
