FAQ 2228: Custom Entry Dates

Problem: I have a plan with entry dates January 1, July 1 and September 1 of each Plan Year. is there any way to code this in ASC so that ASC can calculate correctly?

Solution: You can use an Entry Date table to create your custom Entry dates. There is information on Entry Date tables chapter 6 of the Systems Reference Guide. - Go to Table Maintenance - Entry Dates on the left - Click Add - Give your table a Name and Description - Enter the parameters for your entry dates - Now in Plan Specs go to File - Reload Tables - On your ELIG screen (and/or SECELIG/TERELIG if applicable): o Entry Date select “F - Entry Date Table” o Find the table you created in the dropdown under Entry Table
