FAQ 259: ADP--ADP "Included in Test" field in employee record |
Problem: So what does the coding of "No" to include in ADP test actually do and when is it used? There are times when we have active employees whom for one reason or another we do not want in the ADP test. How do we get this coding to work the next time we need it? |
Solution: The "Included in Test" field in the ADP Test box on the Tests screen is a system-populated field based on status codes of individuals eligible for deferral. It's used for very large plans so they can easily find out who is not being included in the test. If you wish to exclude employees from the ADP test, use status I or a status which is not eligible for deferral contributions, rather than attempting to change this field. |
