FAQ 291: ADP--Projected test--Projecting current compensation but not excluded compensation

Problem: We would like the plan compensation to be projected, but not the excluded compensation. Is that possible?

Solution: To include excluded compensation in the ADP test, check the option "Incl 'Excld'" on the main ADP/ACP setup screen. This coding will project the plan compensation, then add the input excluded compensation on top of that figure. If you wanted the excluded comp to be projected, you should click on the "Project 'Excluded' Comp." option in the "Projection Setup" section of the ADP setup screen.
