FAQ 341: 401a4--Fails one test and passes general test

Problem: I have an a4 test that even though it says failed by the ABT, it can be ignored since I pass 410(b) based on the ratio percentage test part of the general test. Does the plan fail or pass?

Solution: Yes, you are correct. Since each rate group on the general test passes 410b, this can be ignored. That is why the test continues to say "pass" on the General Test page.
