FAQ 395: Error 20476 run time error-- importing file

Problem: I tried to import a file and I get the error: Run - time error '20476' The FileName buffer is too small to store the selected file name(s). (Increase max file size)

Solution: The problem is that the entire path and file name to be imported is limited to 128 characters. This error indicates that your path and file name exceed this limit. Change the filename or move it to a different path that is fewer than 128 characters.
