FAQ 812: How do I run a Puerto Rico test on ASC? |
Problem: How do I run a Puerto Rico test? |
Solution: The test is found under Reports-Compliance-Puerto Rico. It runs similar to the ADP test, running only ADP as ACP is not required. It does the "HCE" calculation under the old 1/3-2/3 regs within the ADP test itself. It will calculate catchup - but you have to set the "Override Catchup Contribution" limit in the employee records LIMITCAT screen to $1000 since that is all that is allowed in Puerto Rico. If you set this using the grid for all employees, it will cap them at $1000 rather than the 45000 allowed under US law. Let me know if you need any other info - Sheryl |
