FAQ 85: 401a4--Missing some terminees |
Problem: I have 2 participants who terminated with 251 hours - but they are not in all columns of my test. Why? |
Solution: 1) If you want terms<500 hrs included in the ABT test (rate group test), you must select the option "Include Terms <= 500 Hours" in the setup. It is not the default. 2) The plan should be coded with a Plan Type of "3-Thrift or 401(k)", not "1-Profit Sharing", on the Benefit Limits (BENLIMIT) screen to include terms in the ABPT (average benefit percentage test). 3) Terms with less than 500 hours are included in the gateway test if status code "N" is included in the "Status Codes" field on the Minimum Allocation Gateway Test setup screen. |
