FAQ 1031: Importer: Voya Ease Importer

Problem: I'm having trouble importing a Voya EASE download into the ASC valuation software. I have created the *.txt file, but when I scan the file (Utilities/Import/Importer/Voya/EASE) all lines of data show as "Skipped - Different Contract". Interestingly, when I open another completely unrelated plan and attempt to scan the same file, it 'processes' just fine. What could it be about the plan I'm using that would cause the "Skipped - Different Contract" errors?

Solution: The Client Number on ASC Val ID screen must either match the contract number on the Voya file or the Client Number must be blank in ASC. Once either of these conditions are met, the import will work.
