FAQ 273: Statements--The statement is not printing for one employee

Problem:

For the attached plan, I cannot print a certain employee's 401(k) statement. What am I doing wrong?


Solution:

When looking at this employee's record, I don't see any values on the Account Values (VALUE) screens. Since statements are produced from the data on the Account Values screens, that is why a statement is not printing. The only numbers that I see on those screens for this employee are stored in source 5, and since there is no Source Description assigned to source 5 in the specs, we don't print that source. Once you get the account activity properly stored in the correct fund(s) and source(s), you should see a statement printing for them.
