FAQ 329: Update--Ran the "Update to New Period" (Annual Update) twice

Problem:

I updated from 9/30/06 to the new period 9/30/07 last week. In error, I opened the plan again today and updated to new period again. I am now at a new period of 9/30/08 with my plan. How can I get my plan back to the period ending 9/30/07?


Solution:

You need to do 2 things:
1) Change the plan year dates in the plan specs back to 10/1/06 to 9/30/07.
2) Delete the history records that were created for 9/30/07 using Utilities - Change Structure - Delete History Record.
