FAQ 2145: Releases, Patches and Mortality Table Updates

Problem: How do I keep my ASC System, Funding and 417(e)(3) Segment Rates, and Mortality tables updated?

Solution: Each ASC Client has its own practice for installing System Releases and Patches. Please discuss internally and with your IT department before making any changes to the ASC System. ------------------------------------------------ SYSTEM RELEASES ------------------------------------------------ System Releases are published twice a year, in the Spring and Fall. They include major programming enhancements and updates to the Manuals as well as updates to Online Help. The Fall Release includes COLAs, including updated pay and benefit limits. They are cumulative. Each patch contains the fixes from the previous patches.
