FAQ 467: Mortality Tables - Difference between 94GAR and 94 GAR

Problem: What is the difference between mortality tables "94GAR" and "94 GAR?"

Solution: Neither of these tables was created by ASC. The relative table created by ASC is GA2002U. Many ASC clients created their own mortality tables before realizing that we had the table available on the web site (and previously with a system update accompanied by a memo indicating how to add it to their system). The 94GAR and 94 GAR tables are very similar, but if you want to know the difference between them, access Table Maintenance and print the two tables (they are actually a set of q's used to calculate annuity rates).
