Problem: Portable copy not producing SPC files

Solution: This is a workstation setting. Go to Control Panel-Appearance and Personalization-Folder Options (or just Folder Options if Control Panel is already broken out into the detail options) and look for the setting "Hide extensions for known file types" shown below. PKCS (Public Key Cryptography Standards) is a known file type associated with an SPC extension, so it hides the extension if that item is checked. I think you'll find that the box is checked. Uncheck the box, click ok and it will immediately show the SPC extension. Changing the setting won't cause any problems. It's purely a display issue.
