FAQ 373: EMPLOYEE--Alphabetical sorting

Problem:

The ASC system is not sorting employee data correctly. The computer was recently upgraded to windows XP and I recall, from past experience, that this could be causing the problem. What do we need to do to fix it?


Solution:

This is a workstation setting that needs to be reset with your new PC. From the EMPLOYEE window, go to Options - Order of Presentation and check "Sorted" under Employee Order. Your census/grid etc.. Should then appear in the sorted order.
