FAQ 376: Import--error 20476 filename buffer is too small

Problem: Can you tell me if there is a maximum number of columns that can be imported using ascript-wizard-import? I have a 24 column spreadsheet X 29 rows and am getting a message saying: Runtime error 20476 The filename buffer is too small to store the selected filename(s). Increase MaxFileSize. Is it the file name or the file itself?

Solution: The problem is that the entire path and file name is limited to 128 characters. This error indicates that your path and file name exceed this limit. Change the filename or move it to a different path - and that should take care of it.
