FAQ 890: Item Name Balloons - How to turn on?

Problem: How do I turn on the Item Name Balloons so they pop up with the Item Name when I am in Plan Specs or Employee data?

Solution: To do this, make the following entry in the [ASC] section of the ASC\asc.ini file on your network: ShowItemNames=Y Restart ASC and then you will see the Item Names as you pause over a particular field. These names are used in import/export mapping, formulas and reports.
