FAQ 11: Cannot get dollar signs to show up on totals

Problem: I'm working with the ACCOUNT report in a copy of the A9.RMS file in Reporter. I have all of the participant numbers coming out with the dollar signs using the "3 Alt 3" format option, but now the Totals section, which summarizes the totals for all participants (i.e. the plan totals) needs to show dollar signs as well, and I cannot get that section to show the numbers with dollar signs. Is there a way to get this section to show the dollar signs as well?

Solution: When editing the participant details lines in the Data section of the report, you need to also click on the "Total" button and change the Format Number there to "3 Alt 3" as well. That should then format the totals with dollar signs as well.
