FAQ 171: 5500 - Where can I locate the Acknowledgement ID?

Problem: I have added a prior form to DGEM and I need to locate the ACK ID number. Where can I find that number?

Solution: If the filing was submitted through DGEM, you can see that number on the 5500/SF checklist or under the form's Manage Document status page. The Acknowledgement ID number (ACK ID) is available on the DOL's Public Disclosure site. Users will have to search for the filing to see the Ack ID number. You can then enter the number under the Amended filing:(RefAckID) field.
